The Universe is Neutral

Happy February. It’s going to be a month of profound change and deepening intimacy with the divine creator source. It’s a real chance to be in our hips and hearts and hold space for the immense waves of change ahead.

Know that you came to this time on planet Earth with the ability to surf the waves of change occurring. The Hopi and Lakota prophecies speak of these tumultuous times when wind and water will unite in force to purge the land and when wind and fire sweep across those areas that have been disrespected. The wind is the element that brings with it precious knowledge.  They speak of the medicine wheel being out of balance and how we cannot separate any further from the divine source, and we will live in uproarious times until we consciously take action to deepen our intimacy with ourselves, the planet, and the cosmos. Until we respect all life in all its forms and do not place the human condition above the rest of creation.

I had a clear vision recently when I realized that we focused on seeking truth by looking outside ourselves around fifteen years ago. Then came the iPhone, and our attention suddenly shifted downward to a tiny screen in the palms of our hands as if we were praying. Now, we are so consumed by a false matrix that prevents us from fully turning inward to the home of our purest source—the silent stillness that holds all the answers. We are beginning to value artificial intelligence over emotional intelligence.

Life is a beautiful odyssey, filled with its ups and downs, and along the way, we all encounter suffering and challenges. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times, especially when we focus on what’s going wrong. We might view the world as unfair as if fate or the universe has a personal grievance against us, that there is a punishing god , and that some people hold power over us. This perspective can feel burdensome and filled with resentment. But it’s crucial to remember that this is just one way of looking at things—it’s not the only truth. Our experiences often shape our outlook: the universe isn’t out to punish or reward us. Instead, it simply flows according to its own natural rhythms.

Our suffering does not arise from an indifferent universe; it often comes from resisting the natural flow of life. The universal flow is continuous, like a river. It is flowing in, through, and as. It is not just in us but in everything throughout the cosmos. We can stand at the edge and observe it moving or turn our backs on it; still, it flows. We can dip a toe in, and it continues to flow. We can immerse ourselves in it, and guess what? It keeps flowing. We can even become the flow and find ourselves co-creating a life of profound beauty and seductive experiences.

From the moment we enter the world, we are provided with beliefs and expectations about how life should unfold. We start labeling and categorizing experiences as good or bad. However, this mindset can obscure a vital truth: everything that happens is simply part of the grand universal order; life is not personal. When we resist this order, long for different circumstances, blame others for our struggles, or wallow in self-pity, we ultimately cause ourselves greater suffering. The universe is only abundant, delivering an abundance of what we focus on and perceive to be a truth. This is the true essence of being a co-creator.

Complaining often reflects a struggle to understand the laws of the universe rather than engage with it. Embracing life as it comes is essential for overcoming challenges. Acceptance enables us to align with and integrate into life’s currents instead of resisting them. This doesn’t imply that we should be passive or give up; rather, it indicates that every situation, even the tough ones, presents an opportunity for growth and learning. Suffering is indeed a gift waiting to be unwrapped. On the roadmap of life, these moments of suffering serve as signposts that guide us on how to surrender and create a more embodied, empowered, and fulfilling experience. Frequently, the most profound insights arise from the most challenging circumstances, and the obstacles we encounter are designed to uplift us rather than bring us down.

Consider this: people from similar backgrounds can experience vastly different lives, even with the same opportunities. One might glide into success, while the other might struggle through repeated challenges. The reason for this difference is not merely luck or external circumstances; it heavily depends on how people perceive, interpret, and respond to their life situations. For many, we have embodied disempowering aspects of life that we struggle against. When we surrender to the divine source, we are shown how to transmute these disempowering aspects and then reintegrate with a deeper intimacy to the source and our unique expression of the source. If something is disempowering, it can never be integrated; the universe is not here to make you suffer unless you believe you should. Suffering is an option until it’s no longer an option.

When we complain, we trap ourselves in a cycle of negativity, fostering the illusion that we are victims of external forces. However, we liberate ourselves from unnecessary suffering when we surrender our perspective from resistance to understanding.

Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” It’s far more enriching to ask, “What can I learn from this?” Reintegrating our divine self is a mental development that involves unlearning what we were taught in our formative years.

This slight shift in thinking transforms challenges into extraordinary opportunities for growth and inner peace, allowing you to reconnect with your divine creative force and foster the life of your dreams.

The universe’s neutrality isn’t just a concept that lightens human suffering; it’s a profound understanding that we play a significant role in shaping our own experiences, often without even realizing it. Our reality comes to life through our perceptions, choices, and insights, illustrating how much power we hold in creating our own journeys.

The law of cause and effect beautifully shapes our existence, reminding us that every action carries its own consequence. When we choose to align our actions with wisdom and responsibility, we open the door to a reality filled with peace, harmony, and fulfillment. Conversely, responding with resistance, blame, or complaints can unintentionally create a cycle of suffering that seems impossible to escape.

Ultimately, we must embrace a higher consciousness that views life not as a series of injustices but as a perfectly orchestrated symphony of experiences. By relinquishing complaints and accepting what is, we cease being victims of circumstance and become co-creators of our destiny. The universe is neither cruel nor kind; it simply exists.

Our choice lies in how we dance with it. The symphony plays a universal song. Are you ready and willing to pirouette? Or would you rather stand on the edge and complain about the key in which the music of life is played? A deeper, more intimate perspective, understanding, and definition of the divine leads to a more integrated experience of one‘s self as sacred. When we become truly still and silent, we gain an embodied experience of the divine flow that we are. Eventually, we integrate and become the flow.

Our hearts’ true nature is stillness in the silence. Our hearts are like the membranes of drums. When an energetic frequency touches them, they vibrate with feelings. They do not label or categorize the feelings; they simply feel.

What a beautiful gift to be alive in these extraordinary times on earth.

Happy surfing.

BE Well

Surrendering to The Voice of Silence

Surrender to the voice of the silence
What lies beneath all this silence is stillness.
Is it possible for you to simply be still?
Don’t try being still; don’t try to acquire it.
Simply be still.
Still is no thing, it is nothing.
It is not a state of mind or a physical posture.
For just one instant stop.
Notice what remains.
Notice what is present.
Just notice. Don’t try to label it or name it.
There is no need to capture it or be captured by it.
There is no thing to capture: nothing.
Just have the experience of you.
In this moment just be the perfection that you already are.
There is nothing one can say that you don’t already know
Be willing to allow yourself the freedom of sacred knowledge; silence.
Discover the light that emanates from you; it has never dimmed despite the cacophony or the darkness that surrounds you.

Every answer you might still be in search of is lying in wait in the center of you.
It is not in the corner of your mind.

In this moment of profound silence, recognize what remains constant and does not come or go.
Amidst the noise, chaos, calamity, joy, peace, and fulfillment, your life communicates in silence.
Embrace this moment of stillness and merge with your divine self.
Healing is the byproduct.

Experience the death of everything in the silence.
All that you were taught you were dies in the silence of the stillness.
You are not your past nor your future; in the still silence is who you are, who you have always been.

Those who have died have nothing to do with this moment of silence.
They no longer belong.
There is only being.
No one ever returns to report anything else.

Stay present in the silent stillness.
Don’t check out or daydream.
Be present to what is or isn’t happening.
Don’t use spiritual concepts to escape the truth of silence; freely be here in the now.

I am not speaking to your mind
I am speaking to your soul.
Thinking is a great power but a corruptable power.
Inquire, but not with your mind
Inquire with your beingness
Your nature.
Be naturally inquisitive like you were at birth.
There is great freedom and engagement in this.
Your formative years
Your domestication is best served by death.
This death is an angel, a gift to be unwrapped.
As a young child, you did not fear death
You were taught to be afraid of the inevitable.

An Instant of Truly Stopping

There is this desire for true freedom and real fulfillment that, at some point, appears in everyone’s lifetime.

Within this longing lies the grandest of paradoxes: this desire for freedom and a fulfilling life can only be realized if you don’t do anything to know it.

Here lies the conundrum. The mind cannot believe this, and since we tend to associate with our minds, we struggle to believe this.

So, there is a focused search for more things to do, and as a result of this intense focus, you are given more things to do.

You are given many things to do, an endless list of tasks and obligations. But consider this: what you are being given to do is designed to wear down your desire to do.

Many practices are pitched and sold as tried-and-true that will ease suffering and take you to enlightenment. As a result of this enlightenment, you will find inner peace and magically be fulfilled. But what you are left with is a new sense of doing.

Yet because this you that you associate with is made of light, there is no need to be enlightened because there is no unenlightened. If you are light, then how is it that you can become enlightened? There is nothing to do to obtain enlightenment; there is only the realization and allowing that you are light, having an experience in three-dimensional form. Remember: The lights are on, but nobody is home.

Many forms of spirituality are designed to assist this realization. These practices are designed to still the mind so it does not obsess about the next activity or object needed to reveal this true fulfillment. To reveal the resolution of the longing for Truth.

In such practices, which I’m sure many of you have or have had or tried to have, there is usually an attempt to focus and concentrate the mind or the combination of stilling the mind and body. Eventually, that points to the fact that there is a reprieve, fulfillment, and peace when the mind’s activity is at rest.

Sure, these practices give moments of beauty, transcendence, and true knowing, yet that underline longing, the underlying sense of how do I get it? How do I keep it? How do I be it, is never realized and allowed.

There is still a need to achieve, to do, to complete the journey you set out to go on. The mind can never be sufficed because it has a job to do, and being still and silent isn’t in its true nature. Ultimately, the question arises as to why you want to shut down the creator’s voice, which is speaking through you.

So why are we so focused on going on a journey of discovery and doing?

Could we collectively agree that we were kicked out of the Garden and need to repent by doing/achieving to return?

My travels in Peru amongst its shamans suggest this is the driving force behind all this doing.  Is it possible that we have been guilted into believing this and ashamed of the three-dimensional form, our body, we co-created to give the universe an experience of itself?

Is it possible, at this moment, to stop right where you are? Stop all efforts to get whatever you think will give you fulfillment or whatever you feel will provide you with truth. Is it possible to let go of? I still need to do what I should have done, I could have done, I would have done.

All that is required is one instant of genuinely stopping.  If you let go of this internal dialogue for just one instant, it will still be waiting for you when you are finished. It needs you more than you need it.

This one instant is elusive to most people because when they approach the instant of stopping, they usually experience an enormous welling of fear.

If you stop, there is the fear that you will slide back. You will lose the ground you gained through your efforts and practices. The chaos of the external world will sweep you away. You will lose this identity you fought so hard to create. The mind tells you that it’s happened before. The old ball and chain of who you were taught, disciplined, and traumatized to be suddenly gains weight and creates more drag.

This internal dialogue arises: I’m still not fully satisfied, but I’m more confident than I was; I have a better life than before; my mind is calmer; my circumstances are better, and if I stop, I might lose all I’ve gained.

This is the risk that everyone will have to take sooner or later. Eventually, everything will be lost anyway. When you leave this body, all that was gained, obtained, and accomplished will be lost and set free. That’s reality. This whole lifetime will be lost. All the accumulations of this lifetime will be lost.

If you don’t stop and yet have faith in other lifetimes, then this lifetime is a hope that the next lifetime you will stop.

This is so obvious that it is startling. It’s so apparent and avoided at all costs, even in esoteric wisdom. One wishes there was some magic formula one could have whispered in one’s ear. And yet, it is continuously being whispered: Stop.

It’s that simple, so simple that you can’t believe it.

Eventually, these instances of stopping begin to accumulate; they become moments and minutes into hours. Eventually, you realize that who you indeed are is the witnessing. You are not a being witnessing but the act of witnessing.

When you allow your mind to stop, you experience fulfillment—more fulfillment than you can ever imagine.

You are pure awarenessing, with a perspective from within the eye of modern life’s hurricane of chaos. There is a sense of wonder inherent in the reality that there is nothing to fix, know, or do that hasn’t already been done. Everything, including you, is beautiful and perfectly complete.

As you allow the stillness of yourself, this heart-centeredness, the world becomes still around you. In this stillness of nature, you realize that all of nature speaks to you.

The animals each have their unique message. The plants each tell you how beautiful you are. The stones, water, and wind speak in their divine way. They are so full of love, beauty, and grace that they know what message you are ready to hear and present themselves to you accordingly.

No one or thing obtained can set you free when you are already free.

It’s impossible to awaken when you are pretending to be asleep.

DEVELOPING WITNESSING

The archetype of the witness is the one who can observe without needing to fix something. With practice, the witness eventually becomes the act of witnessing and can refrain from engaging. Today, on our planet, there is so much drama vying for our attention. Now more than ever, developing the act of witnessing is essential. When you are the act of observing, you will always be taken to a place better than you have imagined for yourself.

Due to our conditioning, many of us find it challenging to observe without getting involved. We have been taught to take action whenever things don’t go as expected and solve any perceived problems. If we don’t sense any issues, we become restless and search for something to fix by creating a problem to keep us occupied. According to shamanic wisdom, this is because we believe that by staying busy fixing things, we can escape our mortality and never die, as we have tasks to accomplish. It is much easier to take on the role of the witness when the event is far removed from our localized reality, like when it is in another country, state, city, or neighborhood. Distancing ourselves from the event can then subdue the emotional charge surrounding it. Yet, when it is tied to our work or family, we often get triggered and call on our past conditioning to quickly resolve it momentarily.

CONSCIOUSNESS SCALE

David Hawkins’s consciousness scale has three distinct categories of witnessing. The lowest frequency or vibration is the victim, where everything is happening to you. All of your experiences are witnessed through your painful events in this lifetime and past lifetimes. Your consciousness has shame, guilt, fear, anger, grief, and pride all entangled in it.

You view life as tragic, demanding, disappointing, hopeless, evil, and miserable. You experience life through anxiety, depression, and negativity. You keep blaming others and things outside of yourself for how you are. You have completely separated from your divine ability to co-create a beautiful life, to walk in the way of beauty.

VICTOR OR ACHIEVER

Eventually, you might find yourself rising out of this observation as the victim and working to become victorious. Quite often, you respond to the event through your past conditioning, and any attempt to solve these still has you engaging with the past and trying to fix things to improve it. You have taken on the role of doer.

There are many strategies for doing this that give people temporary relief from their distorted projection onto the reality mirror. But eventually, the old pattern reemerges, and you are again reaching for a new way to fix your reality. It’s like putting duct tape on it and hoping for the best. Eventually, the leak springs anew and engages you by occupying your attention and requiring you to find a way to fix it.

Think of it in terms of a dog and its stick. Something keeps throwing the stick, and you, the dog, chase after it, bringing it back so you can wait for it to be thrown again so you have something to chase after. This keeps you occupied with a reality that is, at best, futile in its return. You begin to tire of the result, and the observer emerges as the true you. It seems better than chasing your own tail.

Victor’s consciousness attempts to reason the way out, accept, and find courage and willingness to continue. The victor views life as acceptable, satisfactory, and hopeful, giving it meaning. They become productive and have an endless list of tasks to accomplish. There is a sense of relief in executing parts of the endless list. As it fixes one thing, it adds on another so that it has something meaningful to engage with. Idol hands are the devil’s playground.

As the observer develops, it begins to be experienced as observing. You start to realize that it’s possible to observe what is going on in the world around you and not have to fix any of it. You can become a non-doer. The more you begin to observe, the more faith you have in allowing the true nature of things to unfold for your highest and best. You sit back, allow, and watch it unfold. You go for the ride.

VEHICLE

In the Hawkins scale, this is known as the vehicle. When you become the vehicle, you leave driving and navigating up to the divine energy that orchestrated all this in the first place. You realize that there is no punishing force that has it out for you and has left you needing to act on its behalf to correct the mistakes you believe it or you have made.

By allowing this into your consciousness, you become love, joy, peace, and eventually enlightened. You experience life through synchronicities, trusting in the process. You have affluence through compassion and loving what is. You see everything as perfect, complete, supportive, and magical. You see yourself as extraordinary and intuitive and create your dream accordingly.

By recognizing yourself as the observing, you dream your world into being by co-creating with the source of all things. This relationship with co-creating is your faith in your feminine aspects to create pure beauty reflecting the love that you are. You step out of the masculine mindset of needing to do and to solve, and you allow things to be created on your behalf. You allow the mother of all mothers to develop perfection for you and invoke grace in creativity.

The witnessing or observing is who you are. It is who you were born as. It is who you will be when you leave this body behind in death. You are not a human being. You are consciousness on an extended vacation as a human being. You are not this body you currently occupy. You are not your mind, and you are not your heart; these are tools to be used to expand your consciousness on this planet.

Most of us have forgotten that this time on this planet is a retreat, where we are experiencing the mysteries of being in dense, energetic human form. We have gotten caught up in the drama of such a dense reality and identified with it to fit into the “human race.”

We identify with, attach to, and fiercely defend the events that shaped our view of ourselves, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that suggests otherwise. We forget who we really are. We are not what happened to us; we are the act of witnessing.

The act of witnessing is not passive; in fact, it is very active. When we witness the event unfolding around us, we experience the truth of what is occurring. We don’t become traumatized by it. We don’t create an identity out of it or use it to judge ourselves as worthy of the divine witnessing we already are. We realize that the truth doesn’t need us to validate it as truth; it simply is truth. We don’t wage wars over ideologies and belief systems, and we don’t discriminate against those who are different from us. Instead, we realize that everyone and everything is perfect, including ourselves.

UNIFICATION

The final stage of developing witnessing is unification. In observing, we realize that all is one and that the whole reason for this journey and life on earth in this human body is to reunite with everything we know to exist. Everything is made up of the same essential elements. We are made of stars, and the stars are made of us. Each of us is a small part of the whole, and nobody has any more connection to the whole than you do. When witnessing, you realize that what you are observing is observing you. That everything is information informing everything else. This could be called the mirror of reality.

When we talk about awakening and going on a spiritual journey, we are eluding to the development of our witnessing and returning to our divine state of non-doing. We drop the identity of a being and find ourselves in the act of creating. We are the reflection of the divine mother, showing her undying love for the divine source she has engaged with to create this physical plane we call reality.

Pluto Return and 2024

The New Year is off to an amazing start. On January 20, 2024, things became even more amazing as Pluto moved into Aquarius after having been in Capricorn since 2008. Remember 2008 and the collapse of the housing market? Yes, that is the type of influence the tiny planet, Pluto, has on the universe and humanity. Ultimately, Pluto is about truth, power, wealth, secrets, mystery, death, transformation, and shadow journeys — it’s about peeling back the layers to identify who’s really in charge. What’s really at stake? What’s really going on?Since 2008, Pluto has been marching through Capricorn’s industrious sign. Capricorn is associated with big business, Wall Street, corporate power and greed, and traditional economic structures. It has caused an even greater chasm between the haves and have-nots.

Now Pluto is entering Aquarius

In Aquarius — a sign motivated by the needs of the collective — Pluto empowers the masses to organize, mobilize, and disrupt the systems that have failed us. Despite being a small celestial body in our solar system, Pluto’s astrological significance is enormous. In its pursuit of exposing truth and power, Pluto’s touch is far from delicate; it has the finest of a wrecking ball. Clever and calculating, Pluto isn’t afraid to tear apart the most complex systems from the inside out. It has spent the last 18 years destroying systems, many of us thought were part of the grand scheme of things. Metamorphosis, evolution, transmutation — that’s the Plutonian way.

Since 2020 there has been a word that has emerged as a way to describe the profound changes that we have been experiencing, that word is UNPRECEDENTED. The events that are coming very soon are truly going to be unprecedented. For many of us, this will be the last sign we experience Pluto in, as its orbit will have it here for the next 18 years. For the vast majority of us, we have never lived with Pluto in Capricorn or Aquarius. This is because Pluto’s orbit around the sun takes 248 years. It is so powerful that those who aren’t prepared for this intense shift will find that their number has been called to leave the planet.  You may be experiencing this cycle of death in your life right now.

For us in the United States, we are having a cyclic return of Pluto. This means the last time Pluto passed through Aquarius was between 1777 and 1798, which coincided with the American Revolution. While history never repeats itself exactly, we can expect dizzying technological advancements, climate crises, and social shifts to alter the world as we know it. The responsibility is going to fall on the collective to create new worlds in a time of old paradigms collapsing. But the collective is made up of each of us and how we contribute to the whole.

Pluto represents all that exists beneath the surface. Think of clandestine plots, hidden agendas, and systemic oppression. It also represents the incredible pressure that builds on a subterranean level … and what happens when that extreme intensity gets released. Ultimately, Pluto is about truth and power — it’s about peeling back the layers to identify who’s really in charge.

On top of this, we are being presented with the realization of how well we play the victim archetype in our own lives, how it lies in our word, and how we use it against ourselves by speaking in derogative terms about others. Calling out others for their “Bullshit’, because it doesn’t align with your Bullshit…. Acting snidely towards others by manipulating plans at the last minute to disturb the flow so you can have what you think you deserve in the short term. Generally gossiping about others when they aren’t “in the room” is only going to intensify the dynamics of your transformation.

Believing you are more conscious than those you attract into your perception is a real sign of Pluto in Capricorn, think of it in terms of the WOKE movement, currently attempting to assert itself in the culture. Let us be clear there is an extreme difference between woke and Awakened.  If you are calling out the woke or identifying with the woke, your life will become intensely tumultuous. Pluto joins Aquarius to illuminate the shadow you have been busy spending your energy on ignoring. With the transition into Aquarius, you are about to have the most intense alchemical walk of your life through the transformational fire of Pluto. Burning away who you currently believe you are and your involvement with the aristocracy that Capricorn has allowed to rule the planet over the past 18 years.

Pluto represents all that exists beneath the surface. Think of clandestine plots, hidden agendas, and systemic oppression. It also represents the incredible pressure that builds on a subterranean level … and what happens when that extreme intensity gets released.

As this is all occurring we can look at what many indigenous traditions have prophesied about this time. The indigenous wisdom has marked this time as a transition from the fifth sun to the sixth sun. Understanding that a sun cycle is about 5600 years. So for the last 5600 years, we have been under the influence of a masculine-based sun. The fifth sun was a sun of justice and injustice. The Sixth Sun is about reclaiming and remembering.

Since 2012 we have been making the transition into the sixth sun. We will be fully under the influence of the sixth sun at the end of 2026. The sixth sun is feminine. We entered into it in 2012 in the darkness of midnight, or what would be the shadow of the Goddess. This transition in the darkness is helping us to see what is lurking in the darkness of our being and how we contribute it to the collective dream. It is exposing what the light tends to distort or obscure. Think of it this way. When the sun is out in our sky what do you see? The sun and those things directly in our view, clouds, and the immediate environment. But when it is dark and the sun not appearing what do you see? Everything in our cosmos; the stars, planets, moons, and all the cosmic formations that time is holding in its memory.

To align yourself and claim the divine feminine in your life you are going to have to walk the edge of the sword of the Goddess. Think Kali in the Hindu tradition, or the center of the Aztec sun and its deity with an obsidian tongue cutting through the darkness of your masculine domestication, and the distortion and lies despite how anchored they currently are on the plant. This domestication has prevented you from incorporating the shadow of the feminine in your life thus keeping you in the archetype of the victim and supporting your sophisticated denial system. It represents itself in the form of behavior problems, addictions, codependent relationships, self-loathing, anger, anxiety, and self-sabotage. The more you resist the integration of your feminine shadow the more you will suffer. The choice is a personal one. Resist and continue to identify with the past and its victim mentality or integrate the feminine shadow and assist the inevitable transformation of the human on this planet.

To find your true power in this new Plutonian cycle you first are going to have to experience death. The death of your well-constructed identity that has served you in some way through the majority of your life. Some would call this an awakening. All of this is part of the feminine qualities of this universe. The feminine gives birth to all that we know and is also the angel of death. From deep within our own shadow we are going to have to face the destruction of a lot of things so there can be a resurrection of the truth, the whole truth.

The feminine shadow’s concern with you, at this time. is that you experience the death of your false self and claim your body of resurrection. For this to occur we are going to have to give everything up we believe to be true or experience the destructive power of the feminine. The truth is not a bit of this and a bit of that and those things that are convenient to our illusion. The truth doesn’t matter what you consider truth, it is not reliant on your belief system. The truth is about accepting the true nature of this life and the universe as a whole. We must experience life for what it is and not for what we wish it to be. This is the only way we can resurrect the truth, realign with the divine feminine frequencies, and reunite with the divine masculine.

This year 2024 is an 8 year in numerology. We will experience the portal of 8/8/2024 in August…888; 3×8=24… 2+4=6  Venus is a 2, Saturn is a 6; 2+6=8 Venus represents love and Saturn destruction, this is going to be a year of tough love.

The elder feminine grandmother rules this year (Saturn) coupled with  her granddaughter (Venus.) The elder is full of wisdom and should not be ignored. In archetype language, we could say that we are going to experience the combined efforts of the young maiden and the Crone. Currently, we are fixated on the fair maiden and her youthful beauty, all the while ignoring the wisdom of the elder. The beauty of the elder is her seductive wisdom and years of experience.

Healing the Darkside

It could be said that we are living in a time, where all Hell has broken loose. Yet if this is true, upon closer examination, one could also say the gates of Heaven have been thrown wide open like never before.  We have reached a feverish flux, and our ability to see who we really are has never been as illuminated as it is now. The key to this transitional time on the planet is that there is this willingness to witness what you are in total and heal your dark side.

Are you afraid to look at your true whole self? This would include those parts, you have buried deep within, in hopes they might just disappear. To the shaman of the Americas, this is known as your shadow.

Let’s consider your shadow, for a moment.  This could be unexplored parts of who you are. It could be aspects of yourself, you were told to stop being, or those knows and hows you have found no support for in your life. It could be parts of your soul that have reincarnated so to evolve into the higher truth of pure consciousness.

Let’s add some labels to these shadowy parts, like maybe your sexual identity, or maybe your purpose in life, consider your talents and gifts.  How about labels around how you physically look, are they informed from what you have seen in the media, and then applied in the mirror?  Maybe it is because you are simply a woman or maybe you don’t identify with the binary gender standard of society, at all.  Could it be that your masculinity isn’t as macho as others demand?  Finally, it could be the race or ethnic group you identify with isn’t given a just chance in the dog eat dog standards of humanity. How fractured is your sense of self? Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

When we walk around with our shadow looming large from not being included, we tend to attract an abundance of affirming situations, that have us believing that these labels are true and there is something “wrong” with us. But let’s consider this, evidence of lack or truth is not evidence of either, it is only evidence that you have found what you are looking for it.

From there we tend to attract others that vibrate at our level as well as situations that only keep us trapped in a vicious cycle of self-debasing or self-deprecating behavior. This is quite often what happens when we “fall” in love. Being that the universe is only operating from a place of abundance, it has no choice but to align you with your awareness(ing) of abundance or love of self. Gone unchecked we find ourselves manifesting health issues, financial insecurity, and life, in general, becomes a burden, and spiritual crisis ensues. Socially this would be labeled as depression or anxiety.

So how do we begin to really include the dark aspects of ourselves and not be at the effect of them? How do we become whole again and realign with our real purpose in life? Everyone has a story about why or how this happened to them and then we project that on to others. A story that usually centers around a lack of unconditional love. Yet now that the gates of Heaven have been thrown wide open and on an individual level we each have the power to access them and create heaven on earth. What is stopping you? What is stopping you from creating a love story with yourself?

Let me suggest it is the sophistication of your ego. First off your ego is so sophisticated that it has created this sense of you believing you are a being of some type. That this you is having experiences of a certain type and these experiences are to be taken personally. This you that has an ego is being constantly compared to and separated from as either inferior or greater than.  I am this; that is not me.

The ego is very competent at creating subdivisions within the realm of pure awareness. You see the truth of the matter is that you are not a noun at all, but a verb.  You are not even aware, you are the awareness(ing).  You are the acting rather than the actor or actress. Furthermore, in this movie the ego has this you starring in, there is no act, only acting exists, in fact, there is no movie only the awareness(ing) of where the focus has been placed.

Now let’s really throw a wrench in the wheel of confusion. If this you that is identified as having experiences doesn’t exist then it comes to reason that this you that you identify with, doesn’t have an ego. That the separation that is perceived is a product of the lack of awareness(ing). Evidence of separation is not evidence that there is separation it is only evidence that there is a focus on the awareness(ing) of separation. You see the closer you come to the divine nature of truth, the more paradoxical it all becomes.

This brings me back to my initial statement. If the gates of Hell have been flung wide open as well as the gates of Heaven then it should be apparent that we have reached the bottom and that there can be no further separation from the truth and the only way left is up or to reunite with awareness(ing) as the truth of who we are and the love that we are all seeking.

The ancient shaman of the Americas has questioned this since the arrival of the Spaniards. How could it be that there is something separate from the creator that is opposing the creator, such as evilness, when the creator has created everything? How is it that there is a being that separated from the whole of creation to know more than the creator of the divine plan itself? When in fact there are no beings of any type anywhere in the universe. This is the Darkside that needs to be healed.

We are being asked to reunite with our true divine nature, first.  The love we are seeking lies deep within each of us beyond the internal incoherence that is the sophistication of the ego. This is self-love.

Self-love is the recognition that this being you identify with is love itself. Now don’t get me wrong, there is a body, a soul, a mind, a heart, your bank account,  experiences of joy, happiness, sadness, and despair; but they are not you, you are the awareness(ing) of them.  This awareness(ing) is so powerful that you created all these aspects to identify with. To give you a sense of a self or creator. When you embody this truth you have reached the beginning of the end of suffering. For the shaman this is pure awareness, this is the full incorporation of your shadow as an intricate part of being. This is the reuniting of the feminine and masculine aspects of a heart of love. The awareness(ing) of the true nature of truth. The dissolving of Heaven and Hell. The healing of the Darkside.
