Terms, Conditions, Release of Liability,
Assumption of Risk & Participant Agreement
Please read this agreement in its entirety before registering, paying a deposit, making any additional payment, or participating in any part of the Peru 2027 retreat, conference, or optional extensions.
1. Retreat and Extension Pricing
All prices are stated in United States Dollars. The applicable price is the published price in effect on the date the Organizer receives the Participant’s required deposit. Promotional or early registration pricing, when offered, will be published separately on the official registration page and may be subject to deadlines, availability, and additional conditions.

Optional extensions are separate program selections. Registration for the main retreat does not automatically include any extension. Each selected extension is subject to availability, minimum participation requirements, accommodation availability, and the payment and cancellation terms in this Agreement.
2. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of [INSERT CONFIRMED DEPOSIT AMOUNT] is required to reserve a space.
To qualify for any published early registration price, the required deposit must be received no later than [INSERT EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE], subject to space and accommodation availability.
Deposits received after the applicable promotional deadline shall be subject to the then-current published pricing.
The full remaining balance must be received no later than [INSERT FINAL BALANCE DUE DATE].
Failure to timely pay any balance may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of all applicable non-refundable amounts.
Participant is solely responsible for all processing fees, PayPal fees, bank fees, transfer fees, exchange fees, taxes, and similar transaction costs. The Organizer must receive the full amount due after all processing or transfer fees.
Payments made by Zelle, bank transfer, check, PayPal, credit card, or any other accepted method are subject to the same payment, cancellation, and non-refundable terms.
3. Included in the Program Price
Each program includes only the accommodations, transportation, meals, admissions, guides, ceremonies, conference sessions, and other items expressly listed in the final published itinerary for that specific program, subject to reasonable operational adjustments of substantially similar value.
The main retreat and each extension have different inclusions. Participants are responsible for reviewing the final itinerary and inclusions for every program they select.
4. Not Included
- International airfare to and from Peru
- Domestic airfare unless expressly stated in writing
- Travel insurance
- Medical insurance
- Emergency evacuation or rescue costs
- Hospitalization or medical treatment
- Personal purchases
- Laundry
- Additional meals not listed in the final itinerary
- Gratuities
- Passport, visa, customs, immigration, or entry costs
- Optional activities not expressly included in the selected program
- Costs arising from personal itinerary changes or Participant decisions
- Processing, transfer, exchange, banking, credit card, or PayPal fees
5. Cancellation, Payment Deadlines & Refund Policy
All retreat balances must be paid in full no later than [INSERT FINAL BALANCE DUE DATE]. All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing and become effective only upon the Organizer’s written acknowledgment of receipt.
The required deposit is non-refundable unless the Organizer cancels the applicable program.
If Participant cancels on or after [INSERT FIRST CANCELLATION DATE], [INSERT FIRST NON-REFUNDABLE PERCENTAGE] of the remaining applicable program balance, plus the deposit, shall be non-refundable.
If Participant cancels on or after [INSERT SECOND CANCELLATION DATE], [INSERT SECOND NON-REFUNDABLE PERCENTAGE] of the remaining applicable program balance, plus the deposit, shall be non-refundable.
If Participant cancels on or after [INSERT FINAL CANCELLATION DATE], one hundred percent (100%) of the total price for all selected programs, including the deposit and all sums paid, shall be non-refundable.
The parties agree this cancellation schedule reflects reasonable advance commitments, administrative costs, limited capacity, hotel and accommodation reservations, transportation reservations, sacred-site access, permits, guide commitments, ticketing, staffing, ceremony arrangements, and supplier obligations. The cancellation schedule constitutes fair and reasonable liquidated damages rather than a penalty.
Any refund otherwise due shall exclude all amounts already committed or paid to hotels, transportation providers, guides, ticketing entities, ceremony providers, vendors, contractors, local organizers, and other third parties.
Cancellation of one selected extension does not automatically cancel or alter any other selected program. Each program selection remains subject to its own applicable costs, commitments, and cancellation consequences.
6. Assumption of Travel Risks
Participant understands and voluntarily accepts all risks associated with international travel to Peru, travel within Peru, group travel, and participation in the retreat, conference, and extensions, including but not limited to illness, injury, disability, death, altitude sickness, dehydration, food reactions, emotional distress, crime, transportation incidents, delayed medical care, weather events, strikes, natural disasters, terrain hazards, insects, animals, and unforeseen dangers. Participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all such risks.
7. Ceremonies, Plant Medicine, Rituals & Voluntary Activities
Participant acknowledges that certain optional or included activities may include ceremonies, rituals, sacred-site practices, breathwork, fasting, movement practices, hiking, Wachuma (San Pedro), Ayahuasca where locally permitted, meditation, and other traditional, cultural, or spiritual experiences facilitated by independent third-party local providers.
A. Voluntary Participation
Participation in any ceremony, ritual, plant medicine experience, or related activity is entirely voluntary and may be declined by Participant for any reason.
B. No Representation by Organizer
Organizer does not manufacture, prescribe, distribute, administer, recommend, warrant, supervise the medical suitability of, or guarantee the legality, safety, purity, quality, effectiveness, or outcome of any plant medicine, ceremony, or third-party activity.
C. Independent Choice
Participant independently elects whether to participate and accepts sole responsibility for that decision.
D. Full Assumption of Risk
Participant knowingly assumes all risks, known and unknown, including adverse reactions, emotional distress, psychological disturbance, trauma activation, injury, illness, allergic reaction, medication interaction, hospitalization, disability, death, property loss, and financial loss.
E. Third-Party Providers
Any ceremony or activity facilitated by guides, healers, shamans, centers, or other providers is conducted by independent third parties and not by Organizer.
F. Applies to All Activities
This section applies to scheduled activities, optional activities, unscheduled activities, self-directed activities, independently arranged activities, and activities pursued during any selected program dates whether listed in the itinerary or not.
G. Complete Release
Participant irrevocably releases Organizer from any and all claims arising directly or indirectly from participation, attempted participation, refusal to participate, or presence at any ceremony or related activity.
H. Medical Responsibility
Participant is solely responsible for consulting licensed medical professionals regarding contraindications, medications, physical conditions, psychiatric history, and psychological suitability before participation.
8. Release of Liability / Waiver of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant, on behalf of Participant and Participant’s heirs, spouse, family members, estate, beneficiaries, insurers, assigns, successors, agents, representatives, and any person or entity claiming through Participant, fully releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Organizer, affiliates, guides, teachers, assistants, employees, volunteers, hotels, vendors, ceremony leaders, contractors, land operators, transportation providers, local organizers, and service providers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, attorney fees, expenses, injuries, emotional distress, property damage, disability, death, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Peru 2027 retreat, conference, or extensions.
9. Medical Fitness & Responsibility
Participant affirms they are physically and mentally capable of participation and solely responsible for medical consultation, medications, psychiatric suitability, travel health decisions, emergency decisions, medical expenses, and evacuation costs. Organizer has no duty to provide medical treatment or supervision.
10. Participant Conduct / Removal Without Refund
Organizer may, in sole discretion, restrict, suspend, deny participation to, or remove any Participant from any activity or the retreat in its entirety, without refund or compensation, if Participant fails to follow instructions, creates safety concerns, is disruptive, abusive, threatening, intoxicated, violates laws or venue rules, harasses others, destabilizes the group experience, or acts contrary to retreat standards and respectful conduct. Any such decision by Organizer shall be final.
11. Itinerary / Provider Changes
Organizer may substitute hotels, guides, ceremony timing, transportation, meals, locations, sequence of events, or itinerary elements when reasonably necessary due to safety, weather, supplier changes, government action, group welfare, operational needs, or unforeseen events. No refund shall be due for reasonable modifications.
12. Force Majeure
Organizer shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, interruption, loss, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including weather, natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, border restrictions, war, civil unrest, strike, supplier failure, transportation shutdown, government action, or acts of God.
13. Limitation of Liability
Maximum liability of Organizer for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by Participant to Organizer for the land portion of the affected selected program only. Organizer shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, emotional distress, speculative, or special damages.
14. Governing Law / Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Any dispute arising from or related to the Peru 2027 retreat, conference, or extensions shall first be submitted in writing to Organizer, and the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally within thirty (30) days.
If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding individual arbitration in Oregon, except claims properly brought in small claims court where permitted by law. Participant waives any right to participate in any class, collective, or representative action. The prevailing party in any dispute may recover reasonable attorney fees and costs to the extent permitted by law.
15. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement / No Reliance / Electronic Acceptance
This Agreement, together with registration materials and published pricing, itinerary disclosures, payment terms, and cancellation terms, constitutes the entire agreement between Participant and Organizer regarding the Peru 2027 retreat, conference, and any selected extensions.
Participant acknowledges they are not relying on verbal statements, social media posts, informal messages, or representations not expressly contained in this written Agreement or the official published registration materials.
Registration, deposit payment, final payment, online checkbox acceptance, electronic signature, written acknowledgment, or participation constitutes binding acceptance of all terms.
